Relationships !
Now mind you, I'm no Dr. Phil. However, I have been with the same lady for 25 years, and have many frinedships, for long peroids of time. My dentist and I have been friends for 28 years ! So here we go, again !!
The key thing is TRUST, then honesty !! If you have no TRUST, then you will have NO RELATIONSHIP. If you are going to spend any length of time with anyone, you need to trust them.
Secondly, is being honest. Now, I would really not say to someone, "You're such an ass........ , or so and so. Yes, being honest is the way to go, but use some tact. When someone does something, to me, that I don't like, I say, "Wait just a minute, what you're doing to me, is really hurting me, and I wish you would stop that". I had a boss, no matter what I would do, would find fault with me. If I had 1 hair, on my sparse hair on my head, out of place, he would rip on me !
Like, what is up with that ?
Also, always tell the truth. I have seen people LIE to their MD ??? What are you, NUTS ???? You lie, and the results can be fatal, very, FATAL !! That is a very bad plan !!
Also lying to your spouse, is a very bad plan as well. Always tell them everything, as they will find out everything, Then how are they going to feel, when they find out, that you have been lying to them ? What kind of trust, do you have, if you can't tell them anything or everything ? I understand, that their is a huge fear, of getting hurt, and being rejected, and NOBODY, wants that. Most people, do understand, though, & if they are a true friend, they will be their for you,as that is what life is all about !!
You know what Curly, from the 3 Stooges has said, "Truth is stranger, then fiction, judgie, wudgie" !!
Also, never lie to your friends as well. I literally, have told people to go take a walk, when I found out that they are lying to me. If they lied about this, then what else would or did, they lie about ?
I have had some wonderfull friends, & some not !! For sure, I have heard every EXCUSE, in the book, for not keeping up, with friends. I'm busy, you don't understand my situation. No excuses, at all, please, give me a break !!
